My family is coming soon first time to Thailand and we would need a driver + van to get us around BKK-Hua Hin-Koh Tao areas for around two weeks. Driver should act as guide as well helping us to organize everything when visiting attractions. Do you know any service that would match the description?

Can you be a bit more specific? How many people? Do you live in Bangkok? If not too many, easy to get a taxi van to ferry you guys around. Are you planning to use a driver to the ferry for Koh Tao?

Most guides can not drive the van and most drivers cannot speak english.

It is easy and fairly cheap to hire a van with a driver (say 2000baht a day plus food and fuel). It may be best to get the guide seperately. A seperate driver also helps with the parking problem in many places.

I have an travel insurance, whitch is comon practice in THE Netherlands to get in when you go on holliday. And THE normal Health issurance pays what is normal THE Netherlands also overseas . So the extra insurance is basicly for extra cost and if you and your partner have to go back to THE Netherlands in a special flight or So.

Few years i went to hospitaal in Thailand. , everyting. Was Payed By my normal insurance

It's going to be 7 + a baby, we don't live in BKK (live in Hua Hin). That's the plan, to hire a van, but I would like to have a guide as well and just started thinking that for sure there's a service where you can get both in a same package. Haven't found one yet though.

Will you need a van in Bangkok? Fairly easy to get setup with one of those bigger taxis. Depends on your plans.

I'm guessing your wife is Thai? Makes it easier. Would you want to hire the van/driver in HH? Or BKK? For how many days?

I've done this several times before. Might have some contacts for you to call.

Yes, Thai wife. We need first the van in Hua Hin and the need would be 13 days total. The driver would have to stay wherever we happen to go, we would of course cover his expenses as agreed. Not sure if we should go with a suggestion and hire separate guide (would help a lot with the parking too as mentioned). Any suggestions on tour guides who could travel with us and knows their way around BKK-HH-Koh Tao areas?
