Samsung - marketing or product genius?

Googling t'internet for "Samsung Fridge Repair Samui' I came across an archived thread where one poster lists his catalogue of expensive Samsung purchases that had turned into bricks.

Having suffered the very same fate from the 50,000baht ipad copy that would not connect to its own keyboard (without pushing with one hand and typing with the other) to the 20" LED screen that's had more power supply issues than PEA I personally have given up subsidizing the salaries of the Chelsea FC 'Legends' until they learn to translate the word 'longevity' into Korean.

The last remaining product and hope was our beautiful looking fridge freezer whose aluminium doors seem to have hidden the same genius design to 'fail' quicker than a Triumph 1300 wheel arch converting several thousands of Baht of frozen Makro finest meat into a dogs dinner last night after just over two years service

Before I give up on this behemoth of a company can anyone recommend a decent fridge/freezer engineer in the Taling Nagn area capable of extracting another few months of life from this junk?
