Well, not for me it isn't.

I remember growing up how common it was for gay people to say they're bi because that was somewhat more socially acceptable. Most indeed were lying.

But not all.

This article details some of the more recent findings on the etiology of sexual orientation including the question of male fluidity. We know all about female fluidity ... college "lesbians" and all that jazz.

Returning 10 years later to one of the most-read Boston Globe stories, we find new evidence that the answers lie in the womb.
The difference that jumps out at me right away is the new appreciation for “fluidity.” The binary view of male sexual orientation that dominated the field a decade ago has softened. Back then, there was real skepticism about men who reported being anything other than heterosexual or homosexual.
