Featured Replies

Hi,

Do you know a website to order PVC fish tank (1000L) and all hydroponic equipement to grow vegetables ?

Thanks guys !

There was a member here on the Farming thread selling all his hydroponic equipment some time back. I've browsed through the farming section but I can't for the life of me find his post...

If you browse through the Farming section you might find his post.

do a forum search(aquaponics), one of the boys probably said where they

got their stuff or goole ponicwars on uTube, Ryan mentioned who he got his

supplies here in LOS. I'm not certain, but it might be Aquaponics Thailand,

the have a www and a Facebook page, I'm not up on the fishshit growing.

Yes i talked about NTF channel too :)

I would not use NTF channel,we made our on out of round pvc pipe and it is a better system.

The reason is if the power goes of the NTF channel drains too fast and your plants will die.

The round pipe does not run empty and we had power loss for over 4 hours and still some water in the pipes.

Easy to build ,we only operate it for about six months because of the heat.

Saw some Blue Circular water tanks at Thai Watsadu come to think of it. Not sure what size they were but big enough I think. 5-6 ft Dia and about 16 inches high range.

What kind of system are you wanting ? Many can be built from easily sourced local materials. I buy all my stuff from http://www.higreenshop.com/category in BKK. I have ordered many times from them and no problems. Unlike the other shops in Thailand who I guess have trade secrets on their prices as they dont show them on their websites HIgreen shows the price, no calling and getting a falang price. Their prices are very competitive with everyone else and shipping is cheap. If you want to try some NFT they have 3 meter 1 piece rails for 150B and 25B for end caps, you have to drill your own holes. They have about everything you need including net pots, fert. mixes etc., they even have small to large pre-made sets for nft and dwft ready to plant. If you want to try some dutch buckets type for large plants youtube will give you all the info to make your own.
