Not sure if this is the correct forum but...

I'm looking for Nutmeg for some Ambrosia pudding to make it the way granny used to, but I'm coming up empty even at farang outlets. Does anyone know if it is available here? (I'm based in Udon city, but happy to pay for delivery from elsewhere).

I have had no problem in the spice section of Makro other then the size of the bag is rather large for my needs, but was cheap enough.

Another vote for Makro. I bought some in Malaysia and a few days later I saw that Makro sell them cheaper than what I paid. A little needs going into the mashed potatoes.

Do you want whole nuts or powder? I have not seen the whole nuts here.

Bought this in Tops, fairly common I'd say.

I bought mine from one here in Korat for 12 years before I bought

at Marko. Markos is already shelled, a very BIG +.

Yes it does, as I said, it's "shelled"! Marko's nutmeg has the hard outer shell REMOVED.

If you buy whole nutmeg, it can be a pain in the ass to remove without damaging in shall

removal. The shall is very tight clingy, unlike pecans or other nuts. Also from your link, you

can see the mace is also removed when you buy whole nutmeg as in the 3rd. pic down.
