Transit Passenger At Surarnabhumi

Featured Replies

Can anyone advise of the nearest shopping mall to the new airport.

I spend some time in transit before departing Thailand and would like to find a nearby mall where I could shop for an hour or so.

Used to use Future park in rungsit when I travelled out of Don Maung which was very convenient

Seacon would probably be a similar distance, and have all the same shops / facilites.

Thanks Bino

I will check out when I travel

Seacon Sq is about 15km from the new Airport (if you use the Onnut exit and not the Motorway or BangnaTrat) Pretty easy to get to but so far all my flights back up from Phuket to BKK have been at night with very little traffic! Sri Nakarain can be Brutal at times near Seacon!

That being said they have GREAT deals on the Gold Class theaters! Some decent shopping and some good food!

1KM further out Sri Nakarin is another beater of an old mall with some "Pantip" qualities as well as some great food in the food court and a couple of exceptional sit down places. (Not in decor but in food quality!)

For food .... think Seri Center ... for real mall shopping think Seacon Square!
