It is alleged that the man jumped from the seventh floor of the Patong Condotel on Rath-U-Thit 200 Pi Rd.

PHUKET: -- A German man died instantly after allegedly jumping from the seventh floor of a condominium in Patong last night (Feb 23).

Lt Col Jessada Sangsuree from Kathu Police was called at 7:20pm to investigate an incident where it was reported that a foreign man had jumped from the Patong Condotel, a nine-storey building on Rath-U-Thit 200 Pi Rd.

Police arrived at the scene with Kusoldharm rescue workers and were led to the body of a 76-year-old German man (name withheld until his family has been notified) who was lying lifeless in a pool of blood on the ground.

Lt Col Jessada said, “The man had been dead for at least one hour before his body was discovered.
