Featured Replies

Looking for a reasonable peice of land, maybe abt 1 rai.Needs to have Electricity available and road access in place.Looking for somewhere which is a decent and secure kind of area.View not relevant, close to the beach would be a bonus.Lamai area is nice right down to the Butterfly Gardens, but other places fine.Lets just say I'am open to choice.Anyone looking at a private sale, pm me with details and pictures.

THis is samui. There are no reasonable pieces of land. Everything is 50x the price it is elsewhere

Poor Farang, Thanks for such a wonderful answer.

Sorry, but this is the reality unfortanatly. Everyone with an inch of land on samui thinks they deserve 1 million baht. Its sick.

Your best bet is to ignore all of the fancy flyers that the property developers hand out. Rent a motorbike and go for a nice drive one day and look for the little signs from thais selling. This is the land that would be most resonable priced. Its when they get involved with big land brokers that the price goes sky high.

Your looking to build a house Im assuming?

correct.Nothing fancy ,just would like a bit of a gardenfor the kids to play in.Somewhere reasonably close to the sea would be nice.Unfortunately I don't have the time to do what you quite rightly suggest.

Have you thought how you are going to buy this land when foreigners can't own land in there name.
