Picking up passport from VFS

My girlfriend will be submitting her UK Marriage Visitor visa at VFS next week. I want to be able to collect her passport when it's ready. Does she need to notify VFS of this when submitting the application or can I just turn up with the receipt, a letter from her confirming I can pick it up and my passport?

You can just turn up with the receipt and a letter of authorisation, and you will be allowed to collect the pack, you don't need to notify them in advance.
