The Most Beautiful Thai Song I Have Ever Heard

Featured Replies

This is the name of the song:

จินตหรา พูนลาภ-รวมฮิตเพลงรักชุด 3 - 12 - สิ้นหวังที่วังตะไคร

Could somebody please translate this for me?

Is there any place to find the lyrics, translated into english and if possible also written in Thai but in roman script?

If anybody knows this song or can tell me anything about it I would be so grateful!

Thank you very much!

จินตหรา พูนลาภ รวมฮิตเพลงรักชุด 3 - 12 สิ้นหวังที่วังตะไคร

จินตหรา พูนลาภ = the singers name

รวมฮิตเพลงรักชุด 3 - 12 = collection of love song hits ( i.e.best of)

สิ้นหวังที่ = to give up or lose hope or an opportunity or a chance

วัง = palace

ตะไคร = there seems to be a tone mark missing from the last consonant of that word , depending on the tone mark that i think should be there the word either means lemon grass , or a lichen or moss.

so the title implies a sadness or sad event or missed opportunity at a place or palace named after a plant.

maybe one of the more knowledgable linguists on the forum could confirm or correct.
