Hi

I really do not know Bangkok all that well and I am hoping that someone can assist me.

I am in Pattaya and my primary purpose for going to Bangkok is to visit my friend who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer in the Ramathibodi Hospital.

While I am in Bangkok and if I have time I would like to visit the IKEA store.

Can I get to both these places by the BTS (what are the nearest stations do I get off/on ?)

Victory Monument but perhaps a long walk to hospital.

Ikea is to far from any BTS station but at one time Ikea ran a bus from one of the BTS stations past OnNut but not sure if still offered.

The hospital is about a 20 min walk from Victory Monument BTS. There is a free shuttle bus to IKEA from Udomsuk BTS.

you can take a motorbike service after you exit Victory Monument BTS
