Breakfast on beach?

I'm looking for somewhere that serves a decent breakfast with sea views, preferably north of Patong beach, early opening. Prefer kid friendly, somewhere a two year old can run about. Any budget. Hotels mostly do buffet, but happy to go to a hotel that serves a la carte brekkie. Thanks!

Saturday and/or Sunday we grab some street food early and head for the beach for a great morning picnic. Very kid friendly, the kids run on the beach for an hour and then we spread a mat under the trees and serve up a delicious breakfast.

Novotel Kamala Falls, Andaman Bangtao Bay Resort (8AM opening), Best Western Bangtao, Laguna properties Outrigger and Dusit Thani. South, Centara Grand and Kata Beach Resort.

But as Shot mentions, might be worth it to just get some fried chicken off a cart, sticky rice, fruit, waters, juice and throw your own mat out, let the kid go nuts in the sand.

O.k. Thanks for the recommendations. Yes, we get our gai yang and rice regularly, was looking for a western option.
