Using a Samsung phone on 4g in the UK

I travel a lot to Thailand from the UK to visit family and I used to buy my Samsung 3G phones in Thailand and they worked ok on 3G in the UK. However I'm not sure if this is also the situation with 4G. I have a SIM only contract with Vodafone in the UK.

If I buy a Samsung phone in Thailand (Galaxy S7 edge) will it work on 4G on Vodafone in the UK?

I've tried looking at the 4G frequencies used in different countries but cannot work it out
