TallGuyJohninBKK
Oh....and... the Post says SCB is offering the families of the deceased payments of 100,000b apiece, so that works out to a bit under $3000 U.S. apiece. On the Thai bank scale, probably less than one year's normal wages.
TallGuyJohninBKK
Here's the website for the main contractor identified in the Post report, not the subcontractor they supposedly hired. The client list shown on their website reads like a who's who of major Thai companies... http://www.megaplanet.co.th/about.php Based on a Google translate of their About Us page, the company appears to have started out as a mainly fire sprinklers contractor, and then expanded to other fire systems, and later to broader building contracting. Here's their webpage, in English, of some of the different fire suppression systems they offer/provide: http://www.megaplanet.co.th/products.php?cate=14 Edited March 15, 2016 by TallGuyJohninBKK
