oh we had nong mai before, don't think we had the original MV for Bo rak si dam by Siriporn Ampaipong, could be the anthem for Issan. Wish I had 100 baht for every time i'd heard this performed

Siriporn's concert troupe was one of the best, sadly a thing of the past like so much else that made Thailand special

How old is the "mum" in this video... facepalm.gif

Luk tarn was about 21 then, she is an only 'miracle' child as her mum was into her 40's when she had her. Nice girl speaks English and has a degree, took us out for a meal once.

can't find her first song, they tend to get her to do cutsie stuff with rabbits and parrots

Or on the bed with a teddy

Always liked this one:

Ok, like the 5th edit, had to figure out how to embed a youtube video. Turns out, it's simpler than one would think ;) . But it's here:

Well he liked a drink like a few of us do, first saw him on Suk in 2000 I think at a cafe where terminal 21 now stands. Lovely voice, went with a load of girls from Asoke corner bar area before they built on it. Jintara was meant to appear a few days later, but did not turn up
