Looking for a Bangkok Bank ATM in Suvarnabhumi Airport !

A couple show up when you search the Bangkok Bank website. One is at the transport terminal. The other is in the customs free zone so I think that means there isn't a BKB ATM in the actual terminal itself. Can't recall seeing one.

There is one outside the terminal doors next to the food court on the 1st floor, near where the Bell Bus departs. Go to the left after exiting.

There is another but I can not picture where it is. Ask at any currency exchange kiosk. They usually know.

I'm talking about the area where there is a food court that has a Subway. (Overrun by cockroaches by the way). Suwannaphumi Airport always seemed like a black hole for Bangkok Bank ATM's, no idea why. I can tell you exactly where two are located at CNX.

I hope this has evolved since 2010 when I read this old post http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/336202-no-fee-atm-at-airport/

@jfchandler said "1. The only ATMs at Suvarnabhumi Airport belong to Siam Commercial and Thai Military Bank, and both of those charge the 150 baht fee for withdrawals using non-Thai bank cards."

Food court with a Subway is the area opposite the entrance to the City Line train.

The most likely reason why there are no BB ATMs in the terminal is either they wouldn't pay the location price the airport wanted, or there was a tender process and other banks like SCB bid higher.

If evolved means, today you now pay more than 150 baht for non-Thai cards then yes, it has evolved...

Can someone explain to me why is it that after you are past the departures security checkpoint, there is not a single ATM that gives Thai baht? There are lots of ATMs, and they all dispense only foreign currency.

Last time I went back to the UK I couldn't get anything to eat because there was nowhere in departures to get money.
