Can't Connect to Channel Five (UK) website

I've tried four different browsers, but still cannot get anything other than a blank page response when I try to connect to the British Channel Five: http://www.channel5.com/

No other connections difficulties, other than a torrent site that seems to have disappeared ( http://4thdimension.xyz ) but I do occasionally like to check information on originating television channels, such as the series of BBC channels, or other UK television channels, or international ones. However, the only one I haven't been able to connect with, at least recently, is Channel Five.

Anyone else? Ideas?

I just tried it now with my VPN subscription (Astrill) . When I click play on a video I get this message : The programme you are trying to watch isn't currently available. Please try again later. CA-UNKNOWN

I have no problems with BBC, C4 or ITV.

I'm not using any VPN for this, and can connect to all the other Brit websites (not watching any videos, just want the web pages) and the only one I get a blank page on is Channel Five. BBCs, Four, etc no problem.

Tried Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera - same blank page.

Doubt my own ISP would be locked - pretty large Canadian company.

You can connect to the BBC Iplayer using a Canadian ISP without the need for a VPN ? Or are you meaning that you can connect to the BBC website that is open to most ?

Now here's where it really gets weird.

I'm not trying for any player for any show, no video, no downloading - just connecting to the web page of that channel.

The only thing I got at all was a blank page, although every other web site came up satisfactorily.

But just a few minutes ago, out of curiosity, I turned on a VPN and immediately connected to Channel Five. The moment I turned the VPN off, anything for that web site became a blank page.

I'm in Canada, with a major Canadian ISP (and obviously a Canadian internet address) so why would Channel Five seem to be blocking that?

Well that is your problem then , just like here in Thailand I can not connect to Daily Mail because it's blocked by the ISP. With a VPN I can open the page without any problems. So just continue to use VPN .
