Electricity turned off 9am 21 Apr for 24 hr's Kata-Chalong ?

Featured Replies

I was just informed electricity will be turned off starting at 9:00am on 21 Apr 2016 for 24 hr's......:-(

I live atop the hill between Kata-Chalong.

Told by Thai's.

Can anybody confirm and explain why?

Not heard that and I live in that area. Electric was off all day on Monday 18th. Lot of work goig with the cables from the newly opened substation past the school.

PEA dug a channel under the main Patak road and in the process of connection.

Clarification: not "1 day"......just 09:00-16:00 (4pm).

I can live with that......

^^^Movie and a long lunch at Jungceylon is a great way to spend that time.

Forgot to tell that we had no power loss yesterday. But the cable TV was off at 09.30 prompt (booster power further up the hill). TV was back about 15.00 prompt ... not so bad.
