MS Surface Pro 2 power cord

Featured Replies

Hi Folks

Just back from KL and my power cord has just split. Can't find a replacement in Jungceylon.

Have ordered a replacement to be delivered to UK as going back at weekend but was wondering if anyone in Patong or locally could let me have the use of theirs to get a full charge.

Thanks

Prophet

Just asking google for your subject reveals the following:

https://www.microsoft.com/surface/en-th/support/warranty-service-and-recovery/powercord

https://blogs.windows.com/devices/2016/01/21/how-to-get-a-replacement-ac-power-cord-for-your-surface-pro/

On all pictures it just looks like the one for an electric shaver, notebook power supply, or other widely used devices. Give it a try.

Does the AC inlet look like here: (the two "males", metal pins)?

AC-adapter-12V-3-6A-Microsoft-surface-Pr

then the cord has an ordinary "C7" female:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEC_60320

(the picture BTW is a replacement AC adapter for your Surface Pro from Lazada)

A 50 Baht or so product at about every electrical equipment store/department, rummage goods at tukcom etc.

I have plenty of those.

Appreciate the responses guys.

That's exactly the power cord side of the adaptor.

Bargain.
