i've just bought an x t10 to go with my x100s and have a few questions if anyone could help;

when i switch to auto mode 's'

- the virtual horizon disappears from the screen and i can set it via the menu

- cant use the custom settings in the Q menu

- doesn't have all the film simulations e.g. Vemvia, Chrome, Provia not available

- cant change the photometry

is this right or am i missing something?

May be too late for my reply to be useful - as I bet you've got it all figured out now.

 

But the XT-10 was designed as a dual-purpose consumer and enthusiast camera - so the auto mode is supposed to make it like a fully auto compact camera in use.

 

The extra features you want are available in all the other modes.
