HM the King's conditions have improved

BANGKOK: -- His Majesty the King’s health conditions have improved considerably after medical treatment at Siriraj hospital to correct excess fluid in the spinal cord and brain.

A statement of the Bureau of the Royal Household which was issued on Sunday said that the King’s abnormal movements of facial muscle have returned to almost normal, his breathing, pulse rate, body temperature and blood pressure have returned to normal.

HM the King was admitted to Siriraj hospital on May 20.

BANGKOK — I walked up to an unassuming door on a Sathon Road corner, marked only by a gold plaque inscribed with “JUSMAGTHAI,” pushed the buzzer and waited. I was expecting a stern voice over the intercom ordering me to state my rank and file, but instead the door buzzed open.
