E-speaking gynecologist, preferably in hospital for elderly farang lady?

Featured Replies

Anybody with a recommendation for a friendly & good gynecologist, please? Preferably hospital based, as surgical procedure likely. Thank you all kindly. MS>

Both Pattaya International and Bangkok Pattaya Hospital "specialize " for int. clients and either have English speaking doctors or then provide translator.

Add on: ask Mod to move to health forum, there you find people who might be able to give you names of doctors.

pattaya bangkok hospital has many of them but its as expensive as hell.

All doctors in Thailand can speak English.

It is a requirement for getting a doctors job.

Maybe "should", but not "can", as I have noticed several times.

Doctors can speak English, it is a requirement for their job.

Medicines are normally in English, so doctors have to be able to understand.

I spent 7 months in hospital, saw many different doctors.

Some would not speak to me, and as i was the patient i wanted to know what they were saying/doing etc.

I made a complaint with the senior surgeon who was taking care of me.

His exact words to me were..... All Thai doctors can speak English....

After this when any doctor came to my bed side everyone of them spoke to me in English.

I think on balance best to move this to the health forum
