Above and beyond the obvious costs of the obligatory lao khao and San Miguels, what fee would you charge for a similar haircut? Also, is it possible to replace Red Horse for the San Miguel. They're from the same brewery, but with the higher alcohol content of Red Horse, perhaps even a higher level of hairdressim might be achieved. Lastly, in light of the current "crackdown" on foreigners gainfully employed without work permits, is it possible that these efforts be conducted in a room without light?

The village barber raised his prices a while back. It went from 20 baht to 25 baht. I would have thought he could possibly afford to upgrade his equipment. The style of my hair cut is called a number one. The last time the number one rake attachment broke and I ended up with a zero. That's no rake at all. When I got home my wife asked me if I was going to become a monk. Maybe I should tip him enough that he can afford to buy a new number one rake.

I have been cutting my own hair for a long time now. If you have electric clippers you can pretty much just do it by yourself. (hehehehe,,,I said "do it")

The MIL last year decided to become a hairdresser. At 65 years of age & with NO experience she is apparently much in demand as she still has good eyesight & a sypathetic nature This last trip I allowed her to razor cut my long (midback length) hair & she did a pretty ###### good job. That may have been in part due to the 15 neighbours who all heard (not sure how) that khun jom was cutting her farangs hair, so lots of discussion, advice & voting before she razored a section.

Luckily I do have that type of hair though that even when cut badly doesn't notice too much as it is 1) very long & 2) I have lots of it so can tie it up for a couple of weeks if nessecary
