Hi.

Hoping for some help.

I use GMail which includes Mail and Contacts.

Contacts allows you to create contacts including numbers, email and other data.

When GMail synced to my Nexus these contacts become automatically aligned with the contacts button in the phone section of my Smartphone.

I've now synced my GMail to the IPhone 5 but when I press on "contacts" in the phone call section of the IPhone the contacts don't appear.

Is this an Apple thing or is there a process to align the contacts?

Also, no matter how hard I try I can't import a song list (mp3) from a pc into the IPhone. The list is not a large file.

Does Apple bar such actions?

Cheers

What are your settings under - Settings - Mail, Contacts, Cal..., is Gmail set for contacts ?

My wife's phone syncs her contact list automatically to her Gmail account and iCloud account

To import songs to your iPhone, you either need iTunes (Free) or a Third Party program (not free), so no APPLE DOESNT BAR such actions as I have 6149 Songs in my Phone.

Thank M

Isn't I tunes already loaded in the IPhone?

Do I have to open it up and import from there?

Will come back to you regarding contacts.

iTunes is a PC application, the program on your phone is called Music and is "just" a simple media player.

Download from here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

There are third party solutions available, but you need to pay for them (not cheap IMO)

Just do a search in Google, for "sync songs to iphone" and they will show up and for sure someone will add his program into this thread.

Welcome to the closed World of Apple, iPhones/iPads are not as easily accessible as Android Phones
