November 13, 200619 yr im too broke to buy anything top class, brand new, or pay full market price for anything special. im looking for something fairly cheap, but not too bad either. something, that in time, i can upgrade at my own speed when i stop spending money on food and beer... so does anyone know a decent place to buy second hand computers? or even just second hand computer parts? any help would be appreciated! and a price would be even better!! i know you can buy a fairly decent computer for about 16,990 but right now, i cant afford anything more than about 10,000. the joys of beer huh.
November 13, 200619 yr You can buy a brand new Pc for 10K. Maybe not top of the range. But will the do the job for now. Try Carrefour tesco etc etc.
November 13, 200619 yr Fortune Town. I've bought different components there, built 5 useable office boxes. For 10 grand you can easily build or buy a 2nd hand Pentium IV system.
November 4, 201114 yr You can check this company websites, they are in bangkok area and do delivery all around thailand. They sell second hand refurbished computers > http://bslcomputer.com/www.bslcomputer.com/Brand_new_HP__Notebook.html
November 4, 201114 yr I got my missus a netbook from HP brand new under 9000baht, some place offer netbooks with external DVD drives for under 10,000baht, Samsung had such an offer earlier this year. Pantip is another place where you can purchase the bits and bobs and put it together yourself, also prices for the basics start under 10,000, whatever you add in the future is up to you.
November 4, 201114 yr If you really want to cheap out and risk your little money on an outdated clunker go to the upper floors of Pranthip all the way in the back, you'll see all the guys tinkering in the small counter areas. You may be able to get something ultra-cheap, but you'll be restricted to running antiquated version of Windows and software apps. Much better to follow the above suggestions.
November 5, 201114 yr Many decent small laptops under 10k but if you want a little more power and prefer a desktop..... Invade IT thai visa advertiser on this very page has a decent spec for the price, more than fast enough for most tasks pc for 5,990 and then you will just need to buy a screen to plug into it and a nice looking one can be had for around 3k baht now.
