Doctors certiticate

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a good hospital to get a doctors certificate. I'm actually better now but need a certificate for work to cover me from last week. If anyone knows a hospital that can do this, please let me know and preferably a BTS stop and rough location. Good English speaking doctor ideally. Please refrain from posts like "any hospital" etc thanks.

Bumrungrud doctors all speak good English. Explain your situation and s/he should be happy to write you a med certificate. Obviously, the doctor will want to check you up first.

BTS Phloenchit or Nana.

I always use Samitivej on Suk 49. I have always found the doctors very compliant in issuing prescriptions that i require, and often encourage you to double or triple your amounts required to prevent unnecessary expense in returning for new prescriptions.

Phrompong or Thonglor BTS and 20 baht motorbike taxi or Tuktuk from Soi 39.

They all speak English.

Thanks for this.

Wished I'd known yesterday. Went to Bumrungrud. Met with a very cynical doctor who made me feel like I was wasting her time and spoke condescendingly. Refused to back date medical certificate. Got charged 900B. Will use the other place if I need to next time.

TBH despite what i said in my previous post i am unsure whether Samitivej would back date a MC for you, perhaps you need somewhere a little less reputable, or you need to have a relationship with one of the doctors already.

Very little in it for doctors at well known International hospitals to do something like that.
