Every so often, at least once a day, I get redirected to adware/spam when I click on a topic. Below is an example. Currently in Thailand, but it happens in Australia as well and only when I am browsing Thai Visa. Anyone else get this? It happens when I open a topic in a new tab. When I go to the tab, I am redirected.

Hi,

Can you open another site in a new tab? Have you run a malware / AV scan to be sure you have no malicious software on your PC?

I cannot replicate this on our machines here.

Thanks. As I said, it only happens when browsing Thai Visa. I have a virus scanner and it is not reporting anything. I will investigate more when I get back to Oz.

Thanks, we have just made some changes on the mobile version of the site to change the way some ads are displayed. Constructive feedback would be appreciated.

I'm having the same issue. On mobile sometimes I'm redirected to spam sites and can't go back. The seem to end with a button that asks to click for some sort of mobile payment. The ad is in Thai so it's obviously directed at local users.

Attached is the screen that displays as it loads the spam page.

Happened twice in a row after clicking the newsletter link to the Tops rat forum topic. Third time I got a different ad and nothing happened. My guess is someone has injected a malicious ad into the normal ad rotation.

We have just ripped out the top advert and bottom adverts from the site and replaced them, so I am hoping the third time is when you got the new ads.
