What do you mean by "children opera"?

But generally, there's very little opera in Bangkok, apart from the epic works of Somtow Sucharitkul.

The previous poster is correct, Bangkok opera-lovers are starved of their favourite art form to the point of severe malnutrition. But once a year we are able to walk around with stomach half-full and a smile on our face. Google "Bangkok's 18th International Festival on Dance & Music Sept 8 - Oct 10 2016" and you will see what I mean.

I did Google that, and was disappointed to see only three operas, A Masked Ball, Tristan & Isolde, and Carmen. That said, the Bizet has a lot of rollicking tunes, so might be good for kids. However, at 2 1/2 to 3 hours, depending on version, it's probably too long.

Also kid-friendly (but not opera) is Orff's Carmina Burana.

(Probably a dark thought, but when I read "children opera" my first thought was Britten's Peter Grimes. It was one of the works I studied in depth for A-level Music many decades ago. The opening lyrics of the prologue are etched on my mind for ever: "It is a curious story. I have it written in faded ink - a woman's hand, governess to two children - long ago". So dark.)

Maybe not much opera but check out the Siam Society at Asok, about 100m from the intersection with Sukhumvit between the MRT entrances. They post and sponsor many classical music events. Both the Bangkok Post and BK Magazine have regular classical music listings.

Tomorrow, (Saturday, June 25) is the 100th anniversary of the opening of Hualumphung Railway Station and there will be performances of Thai traditional classic music and dance throughout the day in the main concourse.
