Motorcycle Seats.

Featured Replies

I know there are some good motorbike accessory shops in Chaing Mai, but anyone know of anywhere that will repair motorcycle seats or modify them?

Thanks a lot, just what I am looking for. As I will be traveling a long way, can you give me a means of

contact with them to make sure they could modify my seat? My bike is a Forza 300. one year old.

Do yourself a favour and have it recovered in white.

It'll be a whole lot cooler.

It would be better if I could get a net to fit it like on my PCX, I have looked all over Pattaya for one for my Forza without success when I was down there.

I don't suppose I could get one in Chaing Mai.

The Seat Shop mentioned in the 2nd post (with map) is guaranteed to be able to fix and/or modify your seat. I have had several done there. Just bring it in and he'll do it in a day. And you can get a "net" at the Helmet to Home shop in Chiang Mai for 150 baht.

That's great, thanks for your help. I will come up when I have killed the bastard rat that has ruined my seat.

I had my CRF seat done there....widened and with extra padding. The stock seat was a real pain in the @#&^. Cost was about 2000 but what a difference. He was busy so I had to go back a few days later to check the fitting and comfort, he is very proud of his work and likes to make customers happy.

Be aware the net covers you can get do come in different sizes. The PCX and Forza are quite big so an XXL one would be recommended.

Sanchai Panich (On the road going to the Bus terminal after the Honda Bike dealership) normally have a great stock (Red, Black and Blue) but they can sell out fast as most retailers buy from there. Cost just 120 baht.

Narong did a great job rebuilding my saddle yesterday on my new Honda PCX. He used blue stitching to match the paint work. Real attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. Link and location above...

I dont know on this particular job but most of his work is around the 2000 mark.

He uses good materials and has great workmanship.

Worth every penny in my book
