This went with the ribs it's a twist in the Greek moussaka dish. OK Cinco de Mayo is Mexican but who cares, we had avocado salad,  corm chips and home made salsa and of course TEQUILA ( and Corona).  I just served the ribs cut up in that tray as I broke my big serving platter.

I was irritated, too.
Apart from that there is no fresh yeast in Thailand.
I read more down in the comments that 0,05g is about the size of a lentil or rice grain, so I used that amount of instant yeast

in the middle east even the smallest shop has quart jugs of tahini paste available and I useta make big batches to have on hand to put on everything, salads, steamed veges, etc...highly addictive...

 

gonna head down to foodland today and get some to take back to suphan...dried lentils, chick peas, etc...mmm, can't wait to get home and back to my kitchen...coleslaw with tahini sauce dressing...yassuh!

 

 

 

got back from foodland soi 5 today with tahini paste, dried pintos, garbanzos (took their entire stock), brown lentils, lovely genmai cha green tea, flour, olives, pesto, dijon, red wine vinegar, liverwurst and etc...falang hog heaven...lucky I had my visiting Calif BiL with me to help carry the groceries; poor 'ol tutsi with a bulging backpack, cane and bandaged leg (wrapped in plastic against de howlin' rain) hobblin' up de stairs of the pedestrian overpass to get back to the nana side of sukh (heroism in defense of culinary freedom knows no bounds)...headin' back up to de wilds of suphan tmw...

 

alas, no pickled jalapenos...
