What is the evidence on which you base this questionable claim (re drug use among working girls)? Note that a good study of this would have to show at least two things: 1) that drug use is higher compared to others with the same demographic background who are not working girls, and 2) the girls were not using drugs prior to entering the 'industry' [since you have claimed that they use drugs as a result of their work]. Also, you would not be able to draw on western data because of cultural differences in attitudes towards sex, differences in financial strain and responsibility, etc.

Also remember that there are a lot of other types of work--usually performed by men--that are dangerous. Your objection ultimately comes down to a moral one, but it's cloaked in the language of concern for the girls.

It's hard to get the whore out of a woman and it's the same with a bar girl... the ease of money and the lack of commitment as well as the partying all the time is hard to forget.
