Water Heater Technician

Featured Replies

I've been looking for someone to fix my water heater. I'm renting a place, and the landlord isn't taking care of it.

It's Camarcio brand, and I've called the manufacturer who says it is not covered by warranty...although the machine says it has a 10 year warranty.

Anyway, does anyone know a technician that can come take a look close to Maejo University (Nong Han, San Sai)?

The electric light is not turning on.

Look first for circuit breaker tripped (dist' board), or perhaps the ELCB has needs resetting on the unit itself -- push lever up from underneath.

I've already pushed the ELCB and fiddled with that. Checked the circuit breaker as well.

sounds like the switch....I would check it for continuity. I've seen quite a few with a mini circuit board with an led light and knob on it. Those knobs get broken. I wouldn't spend 1200 to fix an HWH that will be worth less in working order, unless it is a really good one. Electricity, water, Thais...could be more dangerous than motorbike, Changs, Thais. New one 2500 installed at Siam. I always let mine cool off with water running through it at room temp for 15 seconds before I turn it off.

Depends on how much it is to fix it. If anyone knows a technician in San Sai, that's what I'm looking for.

It also depends on the quality and safety of the fix.

Sorry I do not know a technician in San Sai but you can easily take the unit out and into town for somebody to look at assuming it is a wall mounted unit.

Also, the wall mounted units will not turn on unless there is enough water pressure. Is your water pressure good or has it dropped? Have you cleaned the filter at the water inlet?

good luck
