So I was in Pattaya and on my last day there I mistakenly had sex with a bar girl, I really have bad control, anyway of course I wore a condom for the sex, but no condom for the Blow Job, then I was in Bangkok for a few days then my penis and groin area felt a little strange, now I'm in Chiang Mai, and I've had this slight weird uncomfortable feeling around my groin area, my testicles and a very slight stingy feeling on the tip of my penis, but nothing serious, urinating is mostly fine, no pain or stinging really, but today my penis feels a little worse. no discharge or anything.

I went to a walk in Clinic in Chiang Mai called CM Mediclinic, but it felt expensive, 3200 baht for a urine and blood test and you get the results in 1 week, I think maybe I can find cheaper option in Bangkok. I will fly to BKK on Monday, but I am just wondering will it be bad if I buy some Doxycycline antobiotics now and take some.

I've had similar problems in England, normally a few days or a week after sex, where my groin and penis feels weird and uncomfortable but my tests come back negative and the problem goes away on its own after a week.

Don't self treat with doxy which in any event would not be the drug of choice for most STDs here.

Since you used a condom, the only STDs you would really be at risk of would be genital warts or herpes, neither of which do you have symptoms of.

Odds are that the "weird" feeling you describe is just due to worrying and being overly conscious of your groin area as a result; it does not sound like an actual STD, and I find many men here have this complaint after having sex with a bar girl/prostitute and then coming to their senses afterwards and worrying.

But if you want definitive reassurance, go to the Thai Red Cross Anonymous clinic when you get to Bangkok. Very inexpensive. See post #5 in this thread for details. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/285198-hiv-testing-and-treatment-in-los-doctors-meds-costs/

^Agree It's called guilt syndrome. Also everything you look up on the interwebs will now convince you you have at least AIDS if you're lucky.

I really wasn't worried or even thinking about std's from the bar girl in Pattaya, So I don't think its all in my head, she was so nice and had a bubbly personality that I really thought to myself that she must be clean, and like I said, I wore a condom for intercourse, bit no condom for the BJ, and I think you can get Chlamydia and Gonorrhea from receiving a BJ too right ? i didn't buy the Doxy, I'll wait, I'm not in extreme pain and discomfort, but I plan on having sex again so I should get tested.

Gonorrhea is communicable via oral sex as are are many STIs but that is not the point. Go straight to the local hospital to the the area that deals with STIs and they will test you immediately and have results within an hour and give you the best treatment.

Yes, you can catch gonorrhea or chlamydia from a blowjob.

You really sound either hypochondriac or stressed out that your usual partner finds out about you having some fun.

Regarding treatment, you could go to a clinic to get an intramuscular injection of 250 mg Ceftriaxone plus an oral dose of 2g Azithromycin.

This treatment cures:

- gonorrhea

- chlamydia

- syphilis

- canker sores
