Couple Use B-Talk Messaging App to Lure Sex Seekers for Extortion

PATTAYA:-- At 10am on the morning of July 21 Banglamung Police Station announced the arrest of nineteen-year old Mr Montien (Mee) Nongnuch and twenty-three year old Ms Wanpen (Manow) Pongsalee who have both been charged with extortion. One iPhone has been impounded as evidence.

At 4am the previous morning Banglamung officers took a statement from an unnamed victim. He said he had formed a relationship on the B-Talk App with a girl named Pat, who had asked him to pick her up and take her to visit a friend who was being held at the Soi Remand Prison in Pattaya.

As he was picking up the girl named Pat he was approached aggressively by two youngsters who threatened him. One of them claimed the woman called Pat was his wife and accused the victim of ‘taking her for sex.’
