Getting to Queen Sirikit Hospital by Bus.

Featured Replies

Hi.

Does anybody know how to get to Queen Sirikit Hospital by Bus.

If I go to the Pattaya Bus station what bus should I take and stop getting off?

Otherwise if I take a Taxi, what might be a fair price from Central Festival 2nd Road to

QSH?

Thanks.

TC.

Get to the south bound side of Sukhumvit.

Catch a mini-van which goes all the way to Queen Sirikit Hospital. Most do, but easy enough to ask. Should be no more than 60 Baht.

I think the white Song Tow's also go to the hospital but not as dependable.

On return, same thing. Get to the highway and simply get in and go. All will be going as far as Pattaya, but ask to make sure.

There is a lot of waiting at this Hospital so go early, around 9 AM. People are friendly. Enough English is spoken but not widespread. Once you learn the system it's easy if you aren't in a hurry.

I will be leaving from Central Festival.

To get to Sukhumvit, I will get motobike and have them drop me off on Sukhumvit.

Is that correct?

Then wait on Sukhumvit for van that will pick up passengers to QSH.

Correct?

TC.

The doctors I've seen there all spoke excellent English, but support staff were almost all exclusively Thai speakers. If you aren't fluent in Thai, it will probably be easier to go with a Thai speaker.

If you need to be admitted and want a private room, you need to have someone stay with you. If you're alone they'll put you in a ward.

Never take a taxi anywhere in Pattaya - you are merely adding to Mafia funds.
