Mike Stern one of the foremost -- I guess some people call it "fusion" -- guitarists is playing at the Scala theater, Siam Sq., Nov. 30th.

Kind of an odd thing: it's not the usual thai ticketamster gig. You can only get tickets at Major cinemas. (Like Ratchyothin or Ekamai) and not at Scala itself or ticketmaster.

He's also doing a guitar clinic out at Rangsit University (why way out there??!!) the day before from 2 - 4pm.

I may have to use one of those sick days! :o

Dekestone, Thanks for the info! I'm going to buy my ticket today. I would love to go to the clinic, but unfortunately, will be flying back from Singapore at that time.

Are you a jazz guitarist? Would you be interested in jamming with another jazz guitarist? I am an intermediate player and would enjoy playing jazz standard tunes with other players for fun and practice.
