Traditional Thai massage, a new career for blind southerners

Blind people in the southern region of Thailand are giving traditional Thai massages so that they can earn money to feed themselves and their families.

Mr. Papinya Chaethong, the board chairman of Thailand Association of the Blind, said a traditional Thai massage parlour has been set up in Muang district, Surat Thani province, and it is opened everyday from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM.

Members of the public are invited to use the services of blind massage practitioners in order to promote new stable careers to them.
