How do I get rid of: "Gender: Male" under my avatar. I don't see gender showing for anyone else and I haven't changed anything in my profile.

Go to your name upper RH corner. Click on name Choose Account Settings. Look for `Other settings` on the RH side. 

Go to Edit profile ..find gender settings and adjust. 

You can get there easier just clicking Profile > edit profile

 

I've already tried that. All you can do there is choose gender or "not telling". It doesn't take it away.

 

Does it show under your avatar. I was thinking maybe it only shows for the person who is logged in?

Right now I cannot see gender info underneath your avatar. Just your location (Pattaya)

I removed my gender info too, but now I can see `Gender:` underneath my avatar. hmm

I think I solved the mystery. If you're logged in you see it under your own avatar, but not under any others. When you log out and view your profile it doesn't show.

 

I don't know why I need to see it when no one else does. 

Hmm, must be to remind you of your gender 5555. Will see what happens with my changed stuff, not much shows up.

I recall a post where it stated that only Admin and yourself can see Gender, but Location is visible for anyone.

No genders visible on here, not to me anyway.

 

Edit: but I see my own gender on my avatar when I post. Minor issue I suppose, does seem slightly odd thoughh.

Yes, I only see gender under my own avatar, and only when I'm logged in. I was feeling singled out.

 

I must say I'm not a fan of the new format, but I'll probably get used to it in time. They've integrated the board to be Twitter and Facebook friendly.

 

The posting frequency across the board has really taken a dive.
