A Oldie But A Goodie Is Big C Coming To?????

Featured Replies

hello to all, particular The Beautiful Maerimites:)

today went for a full gallopp, to the Terraces Restaruant,Four Seasons Resort,Maerim

during our delightful nosebag, the movers and the shakers of the C/Mai scene were talking up big,  that Big C  is finally coming to the corner of H/W 107 and the someng road, just down from the Oven (Maerim Plaza)

sure has been a lot of soil moving ,going on in recent weeks ,perhaps Big C is  coming????

its a INXS (Micheal Hutchence)bonza  afternoon to all my readers:)

If you are talking about the land on the corner of the Samoeng turn off, it is nowhere near big enough for a Big C. Less exciting it is allegedly a petrol station (gas station)

That's a big plot for a gas station, I also heard it was destined to be a Big C or Tesco site. Anyway, there's four petrol stations within five hundred metres of that corner on the opposite side of the road, including a PTT and on the same side of the road there's another three stations just as you come into Mae Rim. I had heard that the people of Mae Rim (or similar) fought a legal battle in the courts to prevent a superstore being built there, on the basis that it would be detrimental to the livelihoods of local businesses, story is that they lost apparently.

the past few days or so, huge tractor rollers  and other heavy equipment are feverishly compacting the plot

can tell something , more then a gas station is coming here:D

its  a  Lenard  Cohen  giddyup good morning to all:)

Many months ago a poster said there was a sign on the land stating that a Toyota dealership would be built there, after much discussion he went back to take a picture of it and it was gone. Have to say that a dealership makes sense whereas a gas station and/or superstore (even a smaller one) doesn't.

last nite, the late good mail came through the stables ,that  PTT petrol/gas  station  ,is the favourite, to be built on this plot, plus a few shops etc etc

could well be on the money  Bluweyze:)

a very nice morning to all my readers:D

Anyone who's looking forward to a Big C will be disappointed when it finally realizes.

Yes, a PTT station is so much more exciting.

I can hardly wait for another report from the CM movers and shakers or was that a drunken fantasy.
