4K HDR TV for less than 30k baht?

Featured Replies

Has anyone else done the research? What options are available?

Happy with something around 50".  From what I can see any of the LG OLED, Samsung SUHD are 4K HDR.

TCL supposedly has a new model coming out soon that has it:  http://www.tclusa.com/news/X1/ and this will no doubt be priced at 50% cheaper than the usual Samsung, LG, Panasonic and Sony models.

There isn't much media out right now but it is growing everyday and I suspect it will become the new standard much in the way 1080p blu ray was.

There was a topic about same not long time ago.

I got the 4K 55" TCL for about 27k baht and are very happy with it. Got it at powerbuy, they had a 10% discount that day.

The screen have a almost 3D look to it when watching True HD TV, very nice.

The smart TV function is not very smart, ha-ha, but don't really care about that.

I will take a look for that thread.

As far far as I am aware the TCL models don't have certified HDR capabilities just yet. (Needs to be above 1000 nits of brightness) However the upcoming X1 series will. No mention of a clear release date or price.
