Hi,

I recently bought a new Android Tablet (Fusion 5) but just cannot connect to my home wifi.  I have tried the tablet on another network and it works no problems.  My home router is from TRUE (Humax) and I have connected several devices to this no problems (including Android).  The password is 100% correct and I have even changed the password for the network to something simple (12345678) but no luck.  It comes up trying to 'Authenticate' but then reverts back to 'Saved' (i.e. cant obtain IP address / connect)

After researching it appears this seems to be a common problem with Android devices so I have tried various methods from internet forums including:

-  Factory reset on tablet

-  Rebooting router / tablet

-  Manually assigning IP address on device

-  Trying various combinations of 'Airplane Mode and Wifi' on/off

One method that worked for someone else was to manually assign an IP address to the MAC Address of the tablet in the router but I cannot see anywhere in the options for the Humax to do this?

Any advice greatly appreciated!

On cable? Contact True support.

One thing you can try though. Change the channel and see whether it helps

Thanks for reply.  I will try to change channel and see if this helps.  It just seems strange why only the Android tablet won't connect whereas all the other devices (including Android) works....
