My iphone 6 went swimming at the weekend and despite bathing in rice for several days, there is no response on a charger or when linked to the computer.

The local apple reseller offered me a replacement phone for 13,300 THB which I guess is some policy direct with Apple or something, but thats still not small change.

 

So before I pay up, does anyone have any experiences getting a water damaged iphone repaired from brick-mode in BKK?
