Android time limit app

Featured Replies

Is anyone using one they could recommend? I did a Google search, CNET, Playstore, etc, but can’t seem to find something simple and user friendly.

Wanted features:

Simple

Multiple users. each with own access code

Daily time limit

Master code for me to change any settings, uninstall, etc.

Did I mention simple?

Any thoughts are much appreciated.

Can you give an example or two of the application? What is it exactly that you are trying to do? On what kinds of devices? For whom?

What is the hardware platform?

What rev. of Android?

From Android 4.2 onwards you could set-up individual user accounts on a single device. From there you should be able control who uses what.

I looked at “TimeLock” and “Kids Place”, both seemed difficult to use.

I want to set up 3 individual accounts each with different daily time allowances, after which that user will be “locked out”. Each user can only access the device with their own code/PIN

I don’t have the device in front of me now, but it’s an Acer tablet type device about a year old.

The link you provided lists ‘Screen Time’ which looks very interesting.

If internet access is required for say games, chat, Youtube, then there may be ways to manage/limit/control network access in your router by person/device/elapsed time, as an additional backstop.
