Buying used Harley with monthly installment?

Featured Replies

A friend is looking for a used Harley, will pay 20 to 30 percent cash and the the rest in monthly installments.

Anyone know of a company in Thailand that offers this?

Link with pictures and prices would have been nice. Thanks.

There are numerous dealers around BKK that offer 2nd hand harleys but the finance deals are often on the steep side ....check out mocyc dot com big bike page (big bike link and can search specifically for Harleys) ...they often come with an example of 'down' and months X installment ...from there you can figure out if its good or not.

Will check it out, cheers;-)

Official dealers do their own financing, with some good rates

Went to buy a secondhand car for "she who must be obeyed" yesterday. The price was 599.000 Bt. They wanted 100,000 Bt. up  front and 10,000 monthly after that for 6 years. By my reckoning that's a total of 819,000 Bt. from the asking price of 599,000 Bt..... Around 37% interest..... Bought it for cash at the reduced price of 550,000 Bt.....Am pleased with that.

Why people consider to buy bikes if they cannot afford them?

After purchase the costs are even increasing as you want to ride too.

Nothing to say he can't afford it maybe he wants to do other things and on the never never he can do that. Maybe not here but in UK most people buy on the never never. If you get a good deal there's nothing wrong with it at all.

Shouldnt that be translated into thai?

Look at www.hd-playground.com.  I have seen dealers there offering finance on second hand Harleys.
