Is it possible to have an affair in a village?

I have never lived in a smaller village in Thailand, but I’d have thought a village of five hundred or so houses you could slip away for a quick tryst

Is it possible to have one without gossip starting?

Amen! I used to live in the sticks for almost 5 years. As the only Farang for many miles around, one is under constant surveillance.

But understandable. Not much happening in the village. Next to TV Soap Operas, the only other form of entertainment is gossip.

Still possible to have an affair, but it's "risky business" for various reasons. Not recommendable!

Might even be riskier than dealing drugs, if that's possible. When you inevitably get caught, you won't end up in jail, but the temple crematorium. The cops will be very sympathetic and understanding towards your wife who will be seen as having been "provoked" into murdering you.
