Is America doomed
Yessir you are correct on that. Long pants should be worn to any official office i.e. immigration yet I note a lot of grubby people so no wonder they don't like us much. I have lived here as a retiree, wearing long pants (4 pair in my closettttt) and only wear going to immigration so once a year only! Women of course need to dress appropriately visiting any wat s also and at some the locals even have a wrap around if a tourist female is wearing shorts. -

Pattaya Hotel Staff, Swedish Tourist Report Thief Using CCTV
And the complaining never stops, huh! Must be nice to have a lot of things you see as wrong on a daily basis. Nice retirement. -

Immigration
Yes. Also as was suggested...best to avoid immigration for that week in Pattaya. -

Poll -- Should Hegseth Resign or Be Fired?
We were talking about the Israeli operative that worked with the Houthi "top missile guy". His name was never mentioned. You are confusing the CIA's request not to name John Ratcliffe's chief of staff, merely due to the reason that CIA agents are not normally publicly identified. Nothing to do with "classified information". Hegseth did not lie, he is the one who determines what is classified, as the Secretary of Defense, not you, not CNN, not the CIA. Only Trump can trump him on this issue. -

Russia’s economy is doomed
Nice try! PPP is relevant in order to assess the local dimension of the economy. In particular the standard of living in a country. That's why it is called Purchasing Power Parity. However. It is irrelevant to assess to global position of a country. A country doesn't buy or sell anything in PPP. BTW, in this respect, PPP is usually used per capita. Guess which country is not even in the top 40? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP)_per_capita -

Does this online community make you feel very happy and fulfilled?
The suggestion about having a daily cap on posts is excellent. Not only does posting dozens and dozens - if not hundreds - of posts in a single day degrade the reading experience, but you cannot tell me that that level of posting activity is healthy for the individual doing the posting either. ASEANNOW would also be well-advised to immediately discontinue the "popular contributors" sidebar. Most of the posters who regularly appear in this sidebar appear to be in an inane competition with one another over who will top the leader board, resulting in a major degradation of content quality. They, for the most part, are some of the least popular posters on the website, and only appear in this sidebar because of the sheer volume of posts they are making.
