Similan Islands Fishing Trip

Featured Replies

Greetings all, just thought I'd put the call out to any fellow keen fisherman. I'm looking at doing a weekend offshore adventure in Mid November to the Similan Islands, chasing GT's, Wahoo, Dogtooth, Sailfish, and Dorado. The fishing actually takes place further out from the islands on FAD's, but you'll also visit and stay at the island overnight.

Adventures are much more enjoyable with friends, and when the costs are shared much cheaper too. You'll need your sea legs as it's 60km offshore, and gear can be supplied if needed. The departing location is Khao Lak, about an hour north of Phuket.

Can take 1-3 people if anyone is interested in joining PM me for details about costs and itineraries.

Some clips of the Similan Islands action, all catch and release fishing.

Are you operating this trip yourself, or just looking for others to share a boat?
