My wife has been making handmade soap for several years but has no idea how to promote it beyond word-of-mouth. She thinks its time to expand and is starting a FB page where customers can buy their choice of several types of handmade soaps in various wholesale quantities WITH THEIR OWN BRAND NAME. She has all the components; pictures, instructions, Thai FDA approval, etc. and will be ready to go soon. The 'missing link' is I'm responsible to do the ads (if I want my money back) and I don't know a thing about it.

If anyone can point me to a computer whiz that speaks Thai and English with experience in advertising on FB, please let me know. All I've been able to find so far are people who ask a fee for clicking the ad button. I am hoping to find someone who is willing to manage the ads and get paid on a success basis formula over a long-term period.

Running ads on FB is very easy and you dont need to be any kind of computer expert, there's heaps of guides out there like these

if you want something in Thai for her then tell her to go here and if shes in Thailand then everything here will be in Thai language, there will be lots of instructions on what to do that she can read

A few quick tips for you and her, you can target audiences with your ads very specifically and actually this is the best way to make sales eg if your target market is middle aged women in Bangkok then you can set the ads to only show to people that meet that criteria. Dont just set a daily budget and leave it as then the ads will be shown to just random people and many probably wont be interested in your product and you will be burning through cash (FB ads charge either based on the number of views or clicks).

As dave says its quite easy but you need to know exactly who to target the ads to.

FB advertising is surgically precise in who you can target your ad impressions to.

Everything a person has clicked a like on is recorded and logged and is available to target an audience, age, sex, location, people who liked moisurizer, skin whitening products, other brands of soap...the lot.

I wish her well in her venture.

Thanks for all your help.  I read Neil Patel's guide - all 10 chapters - and had a hard time concentrating and absorbing... overload. By contrast, i took a quick look at Hootsuite and it seems direct, compact and relevant. I think I can lean a lot there.

Changing the language for her to read thru business for FB, Dave, is a great idea. We tried it on phone, table and PC... seems only to work on a PC.

I've read that lower frequency may get more attention than high frequency that can become annoying. What I haven't figured out yet is how to schedule an ad for say, every other day for a specific period. Any advice here would help.

Lastly, she has a brand name page that she used to try posting and ad. By  mistake, she clicked post 10 times. When I saw the bill, I was able to cancel the ad and save half the money. Does anyone know if I can transfer the remaining money to another campaign? Shame to let it just sit there.

Once again, I really appreciate all of your responses
