BANGKOK: -- Red-shirt leader Jatuporn Prompan on Tuesday packed his clothes and necessities to attend a court's ruling whether to revoke his bail.

He carried his stuff the Criminal Court at 9.30 am.

He's always screaming for justice to be done. I hope it is in this case and his ass is locked up for a long time.

Careful. He will probably be recruiting future black shirts there...

Are you talking about the trained military snipers and soldiers who murdered nearly 80 protestors down near the central world protest site? Are they going to be arrested or even named or do they get to kill Thai citizens and walk away as is always the case in Thai history?

Some only believe what they want to believe. That's why there are laws against free speech and investigation anything in Thailand. information and discussion is always under the police and military thugs watch. They fear the truth. It's really that simple. It's hard to break the cult members from their beliefs especially when lies are propagated by the people who control everything.

So true even with 79 civilians in body bags in 2010 and another 46 students in1973 that you can't see.

COURT

Jatuporn's bail revoked

BANGKOK: -- Bangkok's Criminal Court on Tuesday ruled to revoke bail for red-shirt leader Jatuporn Prompan, citing his "immoderate and inciting" activities in media interviews and TV programmes he hosted.

The Court however maintained bail for other red leaders.

The ruling against Jatuporn came after prosecutors of the Department of Special Investigation filed a petition calling on the court to revoke bail for five red-shirt leaders charged with terrorism in connection with red-shirt demonstration in 2010.

BANGKOK: -- Redshirt leader Jatuporn Phromphan was sent to jail today after the Criminal Court found him breaching the bail condition.

Jatuporn, leader of the United Front for Democracy (UDD) is among five redshirt activists whom the Office of the Attorney-General requested the court to revoke their bails for breaching the conditions for temporary release.

But only Jatuporn was ordered by the court to have his bail revoked for his interview and comment on a TV Channel’s news talk programme that were provocative and detrimental to the national security.

Unfortunately both your assumptions may not happen. Bail revoked for detention and could be only few months. His case still not heard by the court. He will be hard to be forgotten and detention only enhance his status with his supporters. I bet he will be back doing the same condemnation of the junta and be a thorn to them after his released.

Future leader.

The army is doing their best to make that happen it seems. Best publicity you could ever hope for if your goal is to lead a grassroots political movement.

In the 1970s all the murderers of the university students wore yellow and none went to jail for brutal horrible acts that were so so much sickening and that shame the nation. Whatever they claim this man did is rally nothing in comparison. Thailand is not about justice or truth its only about the continued abuse and corruption by the untouchables.

You might want to validate your information, I was here then and I saw no one wearing Yellow. Where did you see this?

Are you certain about the military?

Or you just assume?

Or forget the stolen rifles?

Or forget the mayhem those innocent citizens were busy creating?

Does anyone know what length of prison term he will serve?

Longer than Hitler. (8 months of 5 year sentence)

Less than Mandela. (You can check that one yourself)

Are you suggesting that the people shot from the Sky train tracks were shot by their own side, using stolen weapons?

If you are going to try and rewrite history,  might I suggest that you begin from a vaguely credible starting point!

I just read in the BP that his lawyer is going to file for bail again in two weeks.

And what they will see is a man prepared to go to prison and "do the time" rather than hide out in a monastery.

That would be the people who matter.

Not me.

Definitely not you.

Well there you have it (maybe).

Hope that's not a disappointment.
