I believe you are confusing between a few instances.

 

There was the investigation into HRC use of private server, and then there were the Wikileaks of DNC emails, and Podesta's emails. The first is not the same as the others. The hacking/exposing relates to the latter two.

 

The issue with HRC private server use was potential theft, not an actual disclosed one.

And I think the criticism leveled by AFAUSSS still carries more weight than the opinions of a few disgruntled agents. Note that they also claim the author did not have access which would have permitted him to witness some of what he described. Further, asserting that his life was in danger kinda seems OTT...

 

Another point, I take a dim view of such agents revealing personal information about the people they are protecting. The level of security involved goes hand in hand with privacy of people being kept. Can't work otherwise.

Your OPINION is noted. However, there have been far more than a few disgusted agents and over many years.

Not just my opinion, but what the AFAUSSS says. If you are unclear about this - they are former agents as well, more numerous and with more previously higher ranked and experienced members.

 

And the "I was just replying to part of the post" bit does not apply here. You simply cut something not favorable to your argument.

You have to understand the mentality of the sort of people who go into law enforcement. The world over they are renowned for hating drugs, sex and rock'n'roll. They're never going to like anyone left of center

RNC's response to Trump calling for election observers -

“You [Trump supporters] are encouraged not to engage in ‘ballot security’ activities even in your personal, state party or campaign capacity. If you elect to do so, please be aware that the RNC in no way sanctions your activity,”  As per RNC general counsel John Ryder.

What is you trust in Trump based on?  His political experience?  He has none.  His financial disclosures?  He doesn't do disclosures.  His tax returns?  We haven't seen them.

On the other hand Libertarian party candidate for Vice President GOP Gov. Bill Weld had this to say recently about Trump's suitability as POTUS:

“Mr. Trump has some charisma and panache, and intellectual quickness. These qualities can be entertaining. Veronica Degraffenreid, the SBE’s election preparation and support manager, ignored the statute that requires a signature as part of the registration process, including changes in voter registration." Further, "a State Board of Elections employee, Dr. E. Lee Cooley, was teaching the public and political operatives how to commit voter fraud."

Trump has a record also, and he refuses to let the voters see it.  I prefer the devil I know to the devil who is obviously hiding things.
